Blue tick privacy in WhatsApp Plus lets you read messages without the sender seeing blue ticks, while you can still see theirs.
Steps
- Open Plus Settings, Privacy and security.
- Tap Hide blue ticks.
- Choose contacts, groups or both, or pick custom privacy per chat.
Custom per chat
Open a chat, tap the name, then Custom privacy, to set ticks for that person only. This keeps close friends unaffected.
