You can change the WhatsApp Plus app icon to any of dozens of designs, including some that do not look like WhatsApp at all.
Steps
- Open Plus Settings, Universal, Icons.
- Tap Launcher icon and choose a style.
- Return to the home screen; the icon updates in a few seconds.
Icon disappeared?
Some launchers cache icons. Restart the phone or re add the shortcut.
